    I love making these animals by Louise Crowther. The mouse was made last year sometime but other projects prevented me from completing her. I’ve now completed my ‘commissions’ and am catching up with some WIPS. I made Miss Mouse’s outfit much as it was in the book but it didn’t look quite right when I was finally able to try it on. I also had made a pair of the French Knickers just to see how to do them and Mousie was quite taken with them. So I had to make her a dress instead (pattern borrowed from the Panda from LC’s second book of Animal Friends) so she could show them off!

      Another perfect Louise Crowther. Her clothes are lovely Helen. I do also love her as a little naked grey mouse she looks quite beautiful sitting on the cushion.

        Thanks so much Sue. ☺️ I have to admit I liked making the clothes more than the mouse. I don’t really know why as I usually love making these Louise Crowther characters. I’ve just finished knitting the giraffe from the second book and enjoyed that so don’t really know why I lost interest in the mouse. Anyway she’s finished now and I’m happy with her now she has clothes. 🥰💕

      Thank you so much Elaine. ☺️ I made the knickers ages ago. Almost the first thing I made from these books I think as I thought they were so pretty and I wanted to see how they worked. I haven’t actually used them on one of the animals until now. The lacy pattern was a bit tricky I seem to remember, getting it in the right place on the diagonal. 💕💕

      Thanks so much Michelle. ☺️ Yes you’re right. They are lots of fun. Each one seems to take on a ‘persona’ as I’m making it. Same with the teddies usually. I’m making the giraffe at the moment and then want to do the teddy from the same book. In between all my other projects. Still a couple of WIP’s to finish (boring stuff) and a couple of larger projects which I need to progress. Hope all is well with you. Have you moved yet? 😘😘💕💕
