I made a good start by completing the two fronts. Shaping and keeping the pattern correct at the row ends was certainly a challenge! I started the back feeling confident that I had the pattern in my head so didn't need to look at the instructions... Again shaping was a challenge, but I soldiered on and finally completed it. Next the sleeves! I decided to work the two at the same time going from one to the other. I felt this would ensure the sleeve shaping was identical. Finally all completed and ready to assemble... then I found that on the back panel I had missed the one extra pattern row placed below the very first row of the 4 row pattern! So much for my confidence! You might think it didn't matter and no one would know..but I knew! It meant the side seams didn't quite match and the back was worked on the wrong side. I put it away not having the heart to rip it out and start the back again... so in November 2021..seven years later I finally finished it! Is this a record for a WIP?
