I made this for myself. I enjoyed the whole pattern and the link between the gathers and the lace structure. Cleverly designed.

57 1/2" / 146cm wingspan - 24"/61cm deep
Notes: I made changes to the yarn and one of the needle sizes and the repeats:
I used fingering yarn (Pattern suggested DK)
Moderations:
Chart1 - Set up: knitted as pattern
Chart2 - Gathers Pattern: 36 repeats (Pattern asks 34 repeats with DK)
Chart 3 - Lace Pattern: 7 repeats (same as pattern)
Needle for lace pattern: used 3.25mm (pattern asks 3.5mm but you can choose different size to make the gauge work)
Half Twisted Rib Pattern: knitted as pattern
I wanted finer texture that is why I used fingering yarn, and a size that between scarf and shawl. I can still wrap it around my shoulders in the cooler summer evenings. I can also use it like scarf in the winter. So I am very pleased.
Soaked and blocked without stretching.
Sizes: 57.5" / 146cm wingspan - 24" / 61 cm deep
