Alfredo Linguini and his rat Remy (Ratatouille)

I made this for the challenge!

    About

Have kept bumping into this pattern and always fancied knitting it but looked too complicated, however still ended up knitting him. Good pattern but hard to understand sometimes as translation not great and a few errors. Also no stitch counts at end of rows so you just have to hope!! Had to build a wire carcass too so he is fully poseable. 27 inches tall with his hat. Felted hair. Wrong buttons, should be white, but have not arrived yet. Still I think he's turned out OK! I'm quite proud of him!

I should think you are proud Sue. What a little ( or not so little) character. And I think the buttons look great. Just fabulous. Even the rat has a beady eye. And how did you do that hair? 🤩 💕

Thanks Helen. The hair is felted off the doll then felted onto the scalp. I've got the needle wounds to show for it!!!

Thanks Dianne, its actually felted and I have the puncture marks to prove it. My hands looks like I've gone 10 rounds with a sack of angry kittens!!
