It is knitted as a mitred square. Starting with the length of two of the sides of the square, paired central decreases ensure an even shape. Stitches are then picked up along the edges and a dandelion seed pattern, worked in contrasting colours, with a double centred decrease forming the corners. The edging is worked in basket weave stitch and finished with a stretchy bind off.
