Product Details
This cheerful stocking features cute little red robins. It is worked from the top down in the round on double pointed needles and features a rib cuff, patterned leg and foot and an afterthought heel, which is worked at the end by picking up stitches from scrap yarn. The colour work uses the Fair Isle method (carrying colours not in use across the inside and weaving in or twisting floats) and does require using 3 colours at the same time. Techniques include cast on and working in the round, knit and purl stitches, Fair Isle colour work, increases and decreases, picking up stitches and grafting (Kitchener stitch). Finished circumference is 33cm/13in, finished length from top of cuff to tip of toe is 46cm/18in approx. Also included is a Mini Christmas Jumper pattern - ideal for any left overs!
