This is a simple and fast unisex project. Perfect to use small amounts of yarn, and have fun with color! Two versions can be knit from this pattern: short sleeve or long sleeve. Pockets can be worked too.
Knit seamlessly from the top down, with a garter front yoke. Short-sleeve version: sleeve sts are bound off to form cap sleeves, then back and fronts are worked flat in one piece to the hem. Long-sleeve version: sleeve sts are held while body of the cardigan is worked, then worked in the round. Sts are picked up for button bands.

Short sleeves: approx 150 (200, 225, 250 // 275, 350, 425, 475) yds or 137 (183, 206, 229 // 251, 320, 389, 434) m of worsted/aran weight yarn
Long sleeves: approx 200 (250, 275, 300 // 350, 425, 500, 600) yds or 183 (229, 251, 274 // 320, 389, 457, 549) m of worsted/aran weight yarn
Each Contrasting Color, both versions: Approx 10 to 15 yds or 9-14 m.
