Product Details
This lovely lace Cowl or Scarf is worked on larger needles, to create a more open, lightweight, lacework. The photos show the Cowl. The Scarf is worked in the same lace pattern but is half the width and twice the length of the Cowl.
Cowl width: 60cm [23½ ins] Cowl length: 90cm [35½ ins] Scarf width: 30cm [12 ins] Scarf length: 180cm [71 ins]
Yarn required for Cowl or Scarf: 1 ball Lincraft Cakes Illusion, 150g balls@600m.
Needles required: A pair of 4.50mm [UK 7, US 7] knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing up.
Tension: 18.5 sts and 26 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over patt, using 4.50mm needles. This pattern is worked on larger needles and at a looser tension than usually recommended.
