Product Details
A bright and jolly baby blanket which consists of a variety of crochet stitches. There are bobbles, colourful stripes and inset mosaic crochet stitches which form an attractive brick pattern.
The blanket is ideal for someone wishing to try mosaic crochet for the first time as it is a simple pattern which is easy to master; and there are both detailed instructions and step by step photos to assist you.
There is also information on how to crochet contrasting bobbles and I’ve included some photos which show how to make them if they are new to you.
The blanket has a simple yet pretty border; the pattern includes instructions on how to add it to your blanket.
Yarn = DK. For this blanket I used Hayfield Bonus DK which is 100g per ball. You will need approx. 3 balls of main colour and 1 ball each of 5 contrast colours. I used Silver Grey as my main colour; Primrose, Lilac, Cupid, Salmon and Turquoise as the contrast colours.
Finished blanket size: 78 x 86 cm / 31 x 34 inches (excluding border)
