Product Details
This is a fun festive knit featuring jolly 'ho ho ho' text worked round the leg and foot. Designed in a 4-ply yarn, it is worked in the round on double pointed needles from the top down and features a simple rib cuff, colour work leg and foot, a shaped toe and an afterthought heel which is created at the end by picking up stitches from scrap yarn. The text and borders are worked from a colour chart using the Fair Isle method - weaving in or twisting long floats on the inside. Techniques include cast on and working in the round, knit and purl stitches, Fair Isle colour work, increases and decreases, picking up stitches and grafting (Kitchener stitch). Finished circumference is 34cm/13 1/2in, finished length from top of cuff to tip of toe is 47.5cm/19in approx.
