A hat designed to form a set with Feel Good Baby Booties.
The name was suggested by one of my testers. It implies that the baby will feel happy being warm and comfortably dressed while the mother will also feel happy seeing her baby both beautiful and snug.
The hat is designed to fit both girls and boys and can come in several options: plain border, border with embellishment (eg. satin ribbon), folded border with ribbing underneath to keep hat well in place and protect little ears from drafts.
The hat knit in the round. The pattern uses basic knit and purl stitches, as well as K4in1/K5in1 and cluster stitch in the border (detailed description and photo tutorial included).
Gauge: 2,5cm (1in) = 7 sts and 10 rows in stockinette with US 1 ½ / 2,5mm needles or the size that gets the gauge. Remember that the size of the hat depends on the gauge and can be modified by changing it.
