Product Details
The Fairfield Scarf comes in two versions – one with a center lace panel, and the other with a center cable panel. Together with framing cables and lace, each version of the scarf provides a slightly different look. This two-in-one pattern can be quite versatile. Knit the lacy version for a nice spring/summer scarf; or knit the cabled version for fall and winter. Add or mix pattern repeats for nice summer/fall wrap or shawl.
The knitting skill level is intermediate and above. Knowledge of cables, yarn overs, decreases, and knitting/purling through the back loop is necessary. The pattern is both written and charted for easy interpretation.
