The images show a 2019 Kindle Paperwhite, but adjustments can be made during felting and the damp cover can be placed on a mold if your device is slightly different. For that reason, gauge isn't crucial.
The cover is knit in-the-round in stockinette with one buttonhole, for which instructions are included. The only seam required is for the bottom edge.
