Product Details

Introducing my Spidey knitting pattern, which makes a super Halloween decoration. To make the bendy legs I inserted pipe cleaners (chenille stems) inside each leg, but you could make a spider with dangly legs instead. (For safety, pipe cleaners would not be suitable if the toy is for babies or young children.) Spidey’s body knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles, and the legs are i-cord knitted on two DPNs. You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew a seam.
