Lovely lace bands in between eyelet band rows, makes this a great, easy wear, easy to knit shawl that just about everyone will love. Finished size is about 69 inches wide, at widest point and 24 inches depth.
It works up rather fast using a Caron One Pound yarn. Use a 29 or 36 inch length circular needle US #10.5, for speedy knitting! Fashionable for younger group, yet this makes a lovely gift for grandmothers too. Use a shawl pin to fasten in front, if you do not want to tie. A great lightweight , yet warm shawl, perfect for air conditioned rooms, or snuggle up with on a cold winters night. This is one shawl we want to make more of in different colors!
