Product Details
Featuring a rolled neckline, stranded colourwork, knitted top-down and seamlessly in the round, with short or long sleeves and optional side shaping for an exaggerated A-line silhouette, this sweater is inspired by a twelfth century mosaic pavement in the Basilica of Santa Maria e San Donato on the Venetian island of Murano.
Gauge 18.5 sts and 24.5 rounds to 10cm/4in.
Sizes 1 to 11 to fit bust from 75cm/30in to 159cm/63.5in with 7.5-15cm/3-6in of positive ease. Refer to schematic in photos. Samples shown size 3.
Yarn Ullcentrum 3-ply, 100% wool (200m/219yd per 100g skein). Refer to photos for yarn requirements for short or long sleeved version.
Needles and Notions4.5mm/US 7 (or size to obtain gauge) needle(s) for small, medium and large circumference knitting (eg 40cm/16in circular for top of yoke, 80cm/32in circular for body, set of DPNs or long circular for magic loop for sleeves). Similar needles one size smaller for neck/ribbing. Stitch holders, tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers.
