There are no cables involved - only sc, hdc, dc, camel stitch (third loop hdc) and foundation hdc (US terms). Pattern includes a link to a video tutorial on the camel stitch and foundation hdc.

Throw size (52’’ x 60’’) requires 3250 yards of #4 weight yarn and a 6mm hook. Stitch markers are recommended to help identify the first and last stitches of the row, especially with the textured sections.
You will be surprised just how stunning this simple combination of stitches looks in this afghan! We have also used it in some of other patterns, for example the Robin’s Poncho, which is also popular.
