A light open stitch Blanket, with large squares you can crochet in no time! Inspired by Mexican Folk Art. Papel Picado is a decorative craft made out of paper, cut into beautiful and elaborate designs.

• You can use any DK yarn to make this blanket. You can also use a different yarn weight to make a smaller or larger blanket, using a matching hook – bear in mind your yardage requirements will vary. • I suggest you use a smaller hook than yarn recommends, to attain a firmer square. • You can make a larger blanket by making more squares.
