Nuance is so named as it is casual, comfortable but subtly stylish at the same time.
A simple cable winds its way up the front of the stocking stitch body and then divides to run parallel to the clean and crisp V-neck. The cable is repeated on the sleeves. 1-4" of waist shaping, if desired, is achieved with decorative honeycomb cables at each side.
At a gauge of 18 stitches and 26 rows to 4”/10 cm and with no extra neck finishing the jumper knits up very quickly. It is worked bottom up in the round to the armholes. The front and back are then worked flat and the shoulders joined with a 3-needle bind off. The set-in sleeves are worked top down in the round.
The cables are charted and the pattern has full written instructions.
Sample shown is size 40.25" with 3" of waist shaping, worn with approximately 1" ease.
