"Mirror Me" beanie is super easy adjustable design, gender neutral and customizable hat you'd definitely like as a quick project to make some meaningful gifts for your family.
Sizing: 1 (2, 3, 4) from 0-6 months baby to 10 years old child + teens and adults.

Original yarn: 2 (2, 3, 4) skeins of Lana Grossa Alta Moda Cotolana, 45% Pima cotton, 45% merino wool, 10%, PA, 150 m (164 yds) per 50 g (1.75 oz) skein.
You can substitute the yarn with any cotton/merino blend or whatever you have in stash; some chunky wool is also a good option (you can see oversized hats in some of photos).
Crochet hook 3-4 mm, or size you are comfortable to work with the specific type of yarn.
