Medium worsted weight yarn. You will need about 370 yards (338 meters) of yarn per bag: about 185 yards (169 m) each of the main color and contrast color yarns. Each sample bag used 2 balls of Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton (100% mercerized cotton; 186 yards 170 meters/100 grams)
Hook: US size F (4.0 mm) and US size E (3.5 mm)
