These mitts are knitted out of beautiful natural yarn — Ulysse by De Rerum Natura. The pattern features an elegant textured pattern that combines lace and bobbles.
It is inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of the Karelian Republic, sometimes called "the songlands" in the Finnish culture, and its stunning nature, a gorgeous land with 27,000 rivers and 60,000 beautiful blue-eyed lakes surrounded by endless woods brimming with fragrant sweet berries.
The Karelia Mitts are worked in the round, seamlessly, starting at the cuff.
