Finished size is about 5 by 6. Use for Valentines Day candy or treats. We knitted the hearts first, then sew hearts around knit bottom piece. Add lace around hearts if desired, and satin ribbon bows, each heart side at top. This is a cute way to take a Valentines Day of homemade cookies or candies to a friend! Uses worsted weight yarn, knitting needles, US # 5. You will also need a clean, empty carton, such as a margarine container, about 5 inches high and 2¾ tall.
