Materials needed are:

- Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky (size 5) in gray (or whichever color you prefer). I’d recommend having a full skein of the color you would like for your hippo, just in case, because it uses approximately 150 yards. There are also some small accessories you can make written in the pattern: teeth (white yarn, less than 3 yards), hat (black, less than 2 yards) and bow (blue, less than 2 yards).

- 5mm crochet hook

- 2 safety eyes (14mm)

- Polyfill/fiberfill

- Darning needle

The finished size is approximately 7.5in/19cm tall, 8in/20cm length, 4.5in/11cm wide. (Size will vary if using different yarn weights and hooks).
