This fashionable, up-to-date bag is certain to catch the attention of all ; you're sure to be asked where you bought it.
The yarn used for this design was Classico, by El.D.Mouzakis, a 100% wool yarn which has 112.5m/50gr. and gives a gauge of 18sts/28rows in 10cm.
The bag was knit with 2 strands of yarn held together and the gauge is 13 stitches and 21 rows = 10cm in stockinette stitch worked with 2 strands of yarn held together and 17 st & 20 rows in colorwork.
You can substitute it with any DK or Aran yarn 100% wool which is NOT superwash, or else it will not felt.Cascade 220 would be perfect, or Debbie Bliss Blue Faced Leicester DK and Erika Knight British Blue Wool.
