This easy knit pattern features the use of approximately 80 yards of a worsted weight yarn in the fiber of your choice to make a finished hat that's one size fits most adults. (The featured yarn is 100% hand-dyed merino wool from Dyed Rogue Yarns in colorway Splat.) You'll need 12" US-9 circular knitting needles, a tapestry needle, scissors, and slippable stitch marker. You also have the option to either use the tapestry needle to whipstitch or kitchener stitch the seam shut or to use a US-I 9/5.50 mm crochet hook to slip stitch the seam shut.
Other than that, you just need to know how to knit and purl and have a couple hours on your hands. And just that easily you'll have yourself an adorable new favorite accessory!
