The pattern involves some simple sewing, but don't worry if you're not a great seamstress- the photos guide you through the process so it's very basic and easy to follow. To make the shoes you need worsted (aran) cotton or cotton wool mix for the soles, and light dk or for the sandal itself (worked with a double strand), 3mm, 3.5mm and 4mm crochet hooks (U.S C/2, E/4 and G/6).
