Product Details
Elongated ovals reminiscent of olives in graduated hues of copper and red float on a ground of teal and olive stripes in this design found in an embroidery booklet sold in Greece in the early 1950s. The advent of the mid-century modern aesthetic movement is clear to see and is just as fresh and bold today as it was 70 years ago. It would be striking worked as a table mat, pillow cover, or even framed and displayed as textile art.
