Alpaca Triangle Shawl or Scarf
This crochet pattern for a lacy triangle shawl with a beautiful edging is a lot of fun to create. Perfect for anyone with some crochet experience who wants to crochet something unique.
The shawl can also be worn as a scarf – a new trend! Tie the front or use a shawl pin when worn as a shawl. The options are endless!
This shawl is super warm made in alpaca yarn (though any worsted weight yarn will work). It’s dressy enough to wear out for the evening, but also looks fantastic thrown on over a t-shirt.
SIZE: This pattern creates a shawl that is approximately 60 inches wide and 25” deep at center point.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate – you need just a little crochet experience.
TERMINOLOGY: This pattern is written in American Crochet terms.
MATERIALS NEEDED: You’ll need a J crochet hook and 2-3 skeins (10 oz or 600 yds) of your favorite worsted weight yarn. I used worsted weight Alpaca yarn, but the shawl would be just as lovely made in the worsted weight yarn of your choice.
