Currituck Sound in the Outer Banks of North Carolina is a smaller sound that feeds into a larger sound, the Albemarle. So when it came time to name this shawl—a larger, more colorful big sister to the Currituck Sound shawl—Albemarle was the obvious name choice! This bright wrap uses 3 colors in fingering weight yarn and combines slipped stitch patterning techniques with squishy fisherman’s rib and everyone’s new favorite, brioche. At nearly 1,000 yards of yarn, it’s a truly a project to get wrapped up in.
