Wrapped in Love Shawl

Wrapped in Love is a Prayer Shawl design that came to me when a close friend was having a tough day. The image of a rectangular shawl with little lace hearts and the name, Wrapped in Love, came through and I had to act on getting it started. As soon as I got home from work I went stash diving, I knew I had a blush pink yarn in my stash that would be perfect. I immediately started to wind the hanks into balls so I could get started. After some tinkering with the stitch pattern, I was able to start. It was a slow start, but I kept working away at it, infusing it with love, prayers, and good intentions for my friend. The purpose of this shawl (to wrap someone in love) was made all the more meaningful as my friend walked the road of losing someone close to them. My hope with this shawl is that it will make you (or someone you love) feel wrapped in love, and provide comfort through the trials of life.
