Fisherman’s or Aran jumpers, originally from the Aran Isles in Ireland, were made by fishermen’s wives using unscoured wool, which, since it retained its natural oils,made the garments waterproof to an extent. They were a great partner for these hard-working men. The Workwear Jumper echos the spirit from those long-ago days, creating a garment to accompany you through a hard day’s work, be it at the office or outdoors.
