Violet spiral hat

This spiral crochet hat has a knit look stitch.

Pattern is in US terms and written for a comfortable beginner and above skill level.

Hat is worked from the brim up in the round. Sizing for children 6-10 up to a large adult (23 inches) is included.

To make this pattern you will need the following:

5 mm crochet hook category 4 roving yarn (300 -450 yards based on size) a faux fur pouf tapestry needle and scissors a ruler or tape measure to help keep track of decrease rounds (worked by measurement height of hat rather than having to keep track of rounds)

Video tutorial and photos help with stitch placement then it's a meditative, easy stitch repeat to work.

Hat is warm with bit of density to keep the cold out. The hat body is not an overly stretchy stitch so it will keep its shape nicely for years to come.
