Product Details
A great super chunky yarn for big cosy knits – like jumpers and bobble hats straight out of a Norwegian crime thriller. This 100% wool yarn is also feltable, for projects that need a little bit more structure, like bags and slippers. Stay warm with these wintry colours..
While the yarn content and specifications remain unchanged, the product name and ball band are being updated. During this transition, orders may include yarn with either the old or new label.

It’s a small ball but you’re buying quality yearn. If you’re doing tight stitches it becomes a very strong material.
Yes nice yarn
Good yarn
Lovely yarn to work with - makes wooden blankets perfectly
Wonderful colour choices and it knits up quickly. For pure wool it is very reasonably priced. I have made double blankets in most of the colours including 3 small cat blankets.
As before
Fast and efficient service. Wool was a good price too. Thank u :-)
I am at present knitting a coatigan in this yarn. It is a real pleasure to knit with and it is looking really good so far. It will be interesting to see how it washes though - I`ll have to be extra careful.
I have not yet knitted with this wool from the latest order, but I have used the same wool in a different colour and was very pleased with it. However it would be nice if there were more patterns available, especially cardigans and jumpers, in this wool as they recommend a finer needle than other super chunky yarns.
I used the super chunky 100% wool yarn. It's strong, easy to join securely, and works up smoothly. A 50g ball gives around 50m, so isn't too heavy. It's advertised as being feltable, which I think would be effective. It might be rather difficult to pull apart so may need cutting, although I haven't tried. The most favourable aspect of the multicoloured yarns are their vibrancy, and frequent self-striping colour changes. This has become my favourite wool and will definitely buy again.
