I designed this bag as a Mother's Day gift. The use of Tunisian simple stitch makes it a sturdier bag than would normally be achieved with this choice of yarn. It can carry a surprising amount, yet is not overly bulky, making it ideal for carrying a book or two plus some essentials. Perfect for lazy spring and summer days at the park or on the beach.
Although the bag is entirely crocheted in Tunisian simple stitch, I wanted to integrate some interesting techniques into the piece. Do you want to learn how to use Tunisian crochet in the round? Or how to graft the start and end of a piece of Tunisian fabric together seamlessly? Then you've come to the right pattern!
