Product Details
Treyi Vest is classic, stylish and goes with just about every outfit. The simple St st body is complimented by the wide, openwork border/collar. Wear your vest open, belted, pinned, collar up or down - however you like. Optional waist shaping gives you exactly the fit you want.
Knit flat in one piece to the underarms, then divided to finish fronts and back separately. The border/collar is worked as part of the vest body. The instructions are written and include a chart for the openwork stitch pattern. Finishing is knitting the back collar onto the back neck, simple armhole trim and weaving in your ends.
The yarn used for this pattern has been discontinued. Any 100% plied, wool yarn producing the correct gauge can be successfully substituted. Typically this will be a sport or DK weight yarn. The original yarn was 195 yds/50g per ball.
