A cozy, no-fuss cardigan for days when you want something soft, simple, and handmade.

This pattern came from my love of slow, easy knitting, the kind you can pick up after a long day and just sink into. It’s the sort of cardigan you’ll wear while making coffee, reading in bed, or heading out for a walk when the air turns cold.

This relaxed, seamless cardigan is knit from the top down using raglan shaping. It’s worked flat, then the sleeves are finished in the round. There’s no seaming, just soft, satisfying knitting.

You can knit it using various strands of yarn held together, or one strand of super chunky. The result is the same, a thick, squishy cardigan that works up fast and feels like a warm hug.

Try it on as you go, make it cropped, long, or somewhere in between. This pattern is written with beginners in mind but gives plenty of freedom to customize.
