Alternating speckled and variegated yarn brings to life a whimsical shawl, part zebra stripes and part beautifully colored unicorn: the mythical zebracorn. Perfect for those skeins of speckled yarn that coordinate with a great variegated colorway. Designed with fingering yarn but works well with heavier weights (gauge will vary).
Designed with cleverly placed half double crochets to create a solid fabric with knit-like ridges, and star stitch edging providing additional texture that celebrates glorious, exuberant colors. Detailed instructions, including a picture tutorial, are given for stitch placement as well as how to make the star stitches.
