Product Details
The Knud set consists of three patterns: Jumper Knud, Hat Knud and Mittens Knud. Pattern Knud is named after the polar explorer Knud Rasmussen, who in a picture is wearing a jumper with this pattern. The shape of the jumper has been brought up-to-date to better suit the daily life of small children. The jumper is designed for use under the jacket to keep the child warm and partly replaces mittens and scarf/neck warmer. The jumper has a semi high collar, which keeps the neck warm. The extra-long sleeves have a hole for the thumb, so children wears an almost half mitten to keep them warm, but they can still use their fingers for playing. The two-coloured pattern makes the jumper extra heavy and suitable to wear without a jacket on a calm autumn day. The pattern can be worked in all qualities of yarn, but remember to knit a tension square before you begin, so you can adjust the needle size before starting and maintain the right tension. Enjoy the knitting!
