Product Details
This tea cosy was inspired by a recent visit to see Cirque du Soleil. The costumes are just so amazing and whilst I am never likely to run away to join the circus I thought I could let my imagination run wild with this tea cosy. It is knitted mainly on circular needles with the body of the cosy worked first . The points are knitted separately then knitted to the top of the cosy. The embellished ball is the final piece to be added. If you can’t find felt flowers you could knit or crochet some. It reminds me very much of a Jesters Hat. Whilst it looks complex it is not really difficult to make.
