This is a downloadable PDF pattern written in US terminology.
Materials needed:
● DK yarn- I used Hayfield bonus DK in: Peaches (888), White (961), Ladybird (0698), Black (965), Chocolate (947) and Fields of gold (666). Make sure you use the same brand of yarn for each colour so that it’s all the same thickness.
● 3 mm crochet hook
● 8 mm black safety eyes
● Stuffing
● Sewing needle
● Stitch marker
● Scissors
● Pins to hold pieces in place when sewing
● Wooden bamboo skewer
● PVA glue
When made with the stated yarn weight and hook size, the finished toy will be approx 35 cm tall. You will need to know how to do the following crochet stitches:
mr- magic ring
ch- chain
sl st- slip stitch
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
inc- increase
invdec- invisible decrease
sc2tog- single crochet 2 together
hdc2tog- half double crochet 2 together
dc2tog- double crochet 2 together
FLO- front loops only
BLO- back loops only
