Product Details
Sordid Affair Socks is a charted slip-stitch mosaic sock pattern consisting of a mirrored 16-stitch repeat. The pattern is written for toe-up socks using magic loop with an afterthought heel. Other heel styles can be substituted to create a sock with a flattering fit.
This pattern is written for the sock knitter who is familiar with sock construction but has not attempted to introduce colorwork to a sock pattern.
It is recommended to use colors that are in contrast with each other in order to ensure the colors will not be absorbed by the colorwork. Self-striping yarn, speckled, or variegated yarn can be used in contrast with a solid or tonal color.
