Product Details
The Soft Posy Baby Blanket is made up of whole and mixed coloured granny squares, joined using the Join As You Go (JAYG) method. The border is made up of 6 rounds with a little mosaic crochet and some shaping to give it a “posy” look. I’ve used some lovely soft colours from Stylecraft Bellissima and Bambino. The finished blanket is 36" x 36" (there is also an option for a larger 47" x 47" blanket included in the pattern).
The pattern uses US terminology (UK terminology is also available as a separate listing) and can be downloaded after purchase. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures to help you make your blanket. The full photo tutorials for granny square and the JAYG joining method make this pattern ideal for a first blanket, as well as providing a handy recap for more advanced crocheters.
