Hoods are a perfect accessory for the cold weather months. It can be worn as a cowl or a hood and can go with many styles of coats or jackets. The main body of the hood is created with either chunky yarn or two strands of medium weight yarn. Making it a quick knit. The inside is knit with a singe strand of medium weight yarn. Giving it a nice contrast to the outside.
This Pattern is designed for an intermediate beginner knitter. Using about 250 yards of chunky weight yarn and US size 10 circular needles you will create the outside of the hood. you could also use two strands of medium weight yarn. The inside is created from one stand of medium weight yarn and a size 6 needle. The pattern is worked flat and in the round.
