Product Details
A knit stitch is just a knit stitch no matter what size needles or what weight yarn you use. And yet, to me, knitting looks so impressive when done on a fine gauge.
Despite appearances, this top is extremely simple. The shaping is very easy and takes place over only 7 rows.
While the basketweave pattern over the waist looks intricate, it's really just a simple cable repeated across a row--and there are only 5 rows over which the cables are executed. The basketweave pattern gives an otherwise loose and floaty top a bit of shaping.
Once the body is completed, simple garter stitch edges are added to the capped sleeves and voila. The sweater is complete.
