Inspiration
A few leftover yarns can be enough to create a matching headband to complement your favorite knitted garments. In this headband, you can also play with the flower embroidery — work it in the same color for texture without contrast, or use other leftover yarns to add a touch of color to your piece. You could also enhanced it with beads, or even dried flowers.
Construction notes
The headband is knitted sideways, starting and ending with an I-cord that serves as a tie to adjust it around the head. After finishing, it is completed with a small buckle or a stockinette stitch bow at the center.
There are three versions of the headband.
Once the headband is knitted, there are endless possibilities to customize it and add additional texture and personality to the piece. It can be left as is, or enhanced with **embroidery, beads, or even dried flowers.**The different options are explained.
