Use only one color on each row, and no trailing of yarn behind the work.
Gauge: 3 shells equals 8 cm (3.2 inches) wide. Five rows equals 5cm (2 inches)
Between 30g and 40g (1 – 1.5oz) of sport weight yarn needed in three colours. Tightly-spun cotton yarn would give a fluff-free finish to your cover.
