Product Details
The Seidr Cabled Hood has an attached capelet and sports an attached cable twist edging on both the capelet and the edge of the hood. The capelet fits nicely over the shoulders and the hood is roomy enough to accommodate hair clips; it can also be pulled forward to shield eyes from rain, snow, or sun. Sizing is medium-large. Some interesting techniques are required, including short rows, cables, and both right and wrong side leaning decreases for the hood shaping. The cables are simple with both charted and written instructions for the side cable and written instructions for the edging. You may also consider light felting if you've used a pure wool yarn. The hood, attached capelet and the matching headband and wrist cuffs can be either seamed or worked with a provisional cast on and then grafted, which works easily with the plaited cable.
