Santa Fe Senorita, #2597. Our little 1824 southwestern miss is ready for a buggy ride into town. Crochet pattern leaflet includes instructions to make her skirt, blouse, sash, pantalets, moccasins, rebozo (shawl) and pouch. Made from an assortment including Luster Sheen, worsted weight and cotton yarns and perle cotton (or substitute #10). Fits 18" American Girl Dolls, Springfield Dolls, Götz Dolls and similar sized dolls. I designed this outfit with the American Girl Josefina doll in mind.
GAUGE
With G hook and worsted weight: 4 pattern sts (sc in next st, dc in next st) and 3 pattern st rnds = 1 inch.
With G hook and worsted weight cotton: 4 sc and 5 sc rows = 1 inch.
With E hook and Luster Sheen: 5 sts and 4 1/2 hdc rnds = 1 inch.
With size 7 steel hook and #5 perle cotton: 8 sc and 9 sc rows = 1 inch.
