Product Details
The cardigan is worked flat in rows seamlessly from the top down in an all-over Fisherman’s Rib pattern. The shoulders are shaped using a contiguous set-in method, increasing front and back stitches on either side of a single shoulder stitch. The armholes are created by dividing the fronts and back and working each section separately, then rejoining and working in one piece down to the bottom hem, which is worked in regular 1x1 Rib. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole, then the sleeves are worked in the round to the cuffs. They can be worked using the magic loop method or using DPNs.
Be sure to count the rows carefully. When working in Fisherman’s Rib, every two rows appear as a single row along the knit ribs.
